Anyway, he’s basically the love rival for Moo-Gak and yeah, shit happens that I won’t spoil. Particularly Cho-Rim who eventually works at his restaurant later in the series. Anyway, fast forward a bit and he meets Moo-Gak and Cho-Rim and becomes kind of friends with them. Well, she gets murdered and everyone is like :O GASP!!!! And so this dude is all like devastated and like noooooo my girlfriend has been murdered. Then he meets Cho-Rim and things start moving forward…after he gets hit by her car.Ĭhef Kwon Jae-Hee/Jay Kwon Ford: So chef Jae-Hee over here is a celebrity chef and had a girlfriend who was model. So fast forward a bit, and he became a police officer to catch his sister’s killer but has trouble becoming a detective. So moving on, Moo-Gak was devastated and like fainted and was clinically dead for like ten days or something and when he woke up, he couldn’t smell or taste anything and could no longer feel physical pain. Buuuuuuut, he made a mistake and killed Moo-Gak’s little sister since she had the same name as Cho-Rim. Anyway, his story starts at the point when the murderer guy realizes that our leading lady isn’t dead and goes to the hospital to kill her.

The burglar guy gets away but she uses her sight to find his scent and then Moo-Gak arrests the guy and blah, blah, blah.Ĭhoi Moo-Gak: The male lead of this series and I kind of love him because he’s so…weird but like in a good way. She freaks out and he commandeers the vehicle and then a car chase ensues as she freaks out in the passenger seat. Anyway, she was out running errands for some bitch she works with and hits Moo-Gak with her car as he chases a burglar or something. I don’t really remember why she chose that profession but it’s unimportant. Years later she now lives with her ‘father’ the police guy who adopted her (he doesn’t tell her the truth of who she is) and is now trying to become a comedian. Now our murderer thought she was dead but found out she wasn’t and went back to kill her but failed (I’ll elaborate on that later). Anyway, when she was in high school (I think it was high school) she comes home to her parents being murdered by this murderer who then chases her about her seaside town until she runs into a car and falls into a coma. She sees smells…you can see how this drama and webtoon got its name. Years later she runs into a police officer named Choi Moo-Gak and helps him try to catch the person who murdered his sister.Ĭhoi Eun-Seol/Oh Cho-Rim: Our leading lady and the girl who can see smells…literally. So the basic plot of the show is that Choi Eun-Seol (now Oh Cho-Rim) woke up from a coma with the ability to see smells and lost all memories of her previous life and was adopted by the police detective guy who investigated what happened. From the clip I saw on FaceBook, I thought this was going to be a cute romantic comedy…I WAS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY WRONG! I mean episode 1 introduced us to the main female Choi Eun-Seol coming home to her parents being murdered and then chased by the murderer…yeah. Let’s see what I’ve got written down…oh yeah, The Girl Who Sees Smells, it looks cute. So one day, I was bored and was like hey, I should watch a drama. Now, I originally saw a clip of this show on FaceBook and thought it looked interesting so I added it to my long and never-ending list of shows to watch. First of all this is a Korean Drama that was based on webtoon of the same name.
